ABOUT OUR SERVICES
Are you new to our church?
Visiting a church for the first time can be an interesting experience, and FNLC is no different.
Whether you’ve never been to church before, or you are a visitor to our area, you won't be flagged as a "newbie” or expected to sign any visitor's card, but you will always receive a warm welcome to our fellowship.
What you will find here are:
messages that are relevant to your daily life
people from every stage and walk of life
worship that is vibrant and expressive
prayer that is personal and passionate
people who care and think that you matter
Whether you’re single, married, single again, with or without children, young or old – no matter where you’ve been or what you’ve done – we invite you to experience freedom, joy, and life here! Our Hope is that FNLC will not just be a place you visit - but a caring family to which you'll soon belong!
What to expect:
When you enter our meeting place you will normally be welcomed by one of our friendly greeters. You will quickly discover that this is a very vibrant and safe place to be.
Our services normally start on time and seating space fills up at least 15min ahead of that. So we suggest that you allow yourself enough time to get settled in. Service times usually range from 1hr - 11/2hrs and are often commenced by a period of singing (we call it worship) led by the music team. Time will also be given to prayer and a biblical based talk, that will have a relevant life application.
Following the service, tea, coffee, cold drinks and biscuits or cakes will be served, where you can relax, have a chat and get to know other people and discover more about the Church.
What should I wear?
Faith for us is not based on how we look or what we wear, but on our personal
relationship with Jesus Christ. Some like to come smartly dressed, others a little bit more casual. So come in a manner that you feel comfortable with. We do not want any 'outward rituals or stipulations' to prevent you from discovering the love that Jesus has for you and the difference that His continued presence in your life can make.
